I'm a multi-disciplinary artist and designer, a past professor of art and university department chair. I design and build landscapes, outdoor living spaces, and experiential public art spaces with climate appropriate plants, works of art, and landscape as art. My projects are built by licensed contractors.
Along the Los Angeles River I developed the concept design and planning for a public art project called The River's Embrace at The Glendale Narrows. The Riverwalk park was designed by North East Trees. The surrounding natural environments and the history of the Tongva Indians inspired elements of the project.
For children I created The Nature of Play experiential garden at the Los Angeles Arboretum and the Faerie Headquarters Urban Tea Party garden in Santa Monica.
My gardens may include my outdoor fine art prints and conceptual art plaques, healing gardens and playscape earthworks.
