Held weekly on Thursdays from August 15 – 29, 2019 (3 sessions)
Mixed with annuals and perennials or filling empty spaces later in the season, summer flowering bulbs are an important part of the garden palette. Some bring intriguing detail to the garden, while others provide lush foliage and abundant bloom. Winter hardy varieties return each year; even tender kinds are especially easy to overwinter. Most are pest- and disease-resistant, even to deer. This course will focus on the identification and culture of bulbs, corms, rhizomes, and tubers that flower in summer.
