With endless ornamental attributes that include colorful flowers and foliage, fragrant and textural interest, ecological benefits, and diversity of size and stature, perennials add versatility and depth to the landscape. Explore ways to incorporate classic perennials and new introductions into gardens, landscapes, meadows, and containers. Learn how to identify, select, and site perennials, and the importance of maintenance to achieve optimum growth. Identification and cultural requirements will be emphasized to assure success when selecting perennials.
