Starting with the early annexation of property, the development of Fairmount Park, and the establishment of the nation's first waterworks, Philadelphia has long been a leader in water management. Fast forward to today when designers, the municipality, and nonprofit organizations work together to find ways of mitigating development and pollution in an ever-changing climate. Evaluate the designs and implemented projects in conjunction with the goals and sustainability of earlier precedents for storm water management.
