Presented by Kryssie Maybay, PLA, Manager – Landscape Architect, Kismet Design, LLC
Site analysis is a critical step in the design process. There are many different tools and tactics used to obtain the best and most accurate information. The purpose of thorough site analysis is to enhance your ability to create better designs and manage expectations for better results.
Kryssie Maybay will review her process starting with virtual site information gathering, to on-site analysis, and finally how to organize all the information gathered into a format you can put to use while designing. Gathering enough information will aid in your ability to create a great design, manage client expectations and convey information to the contractor that will be installing the project. Many useful tools and tactics will be reviewed that you will undoubtably want to incorporate into your own site analysis process.
