APLD Webinar: The Art of Pro Bono Practice in Landscape Design (1 CEU)
Wednesday, April 29, 2026, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Category: APLD Programs and Events

Presented by Haig Seferian, Principal Landscape Architect, Seferian Design Group

Pro bono work is a meaningful way for landscape designers to extend their expertise in service of communities, nonprofits, and the public good — when approached with intention and professionalism. This webinar will explore the art of pro bono practice in landscape design, examining how designers can balance generosity with business realities, manage scope and expectations, and deliver high-quality outcomes beyond the traditional fee-based model. Through practical guidance and real-world examples, participants will gain insight into structuring pro bono engagements, aligning them with personal or firm values, and integrating service-based work into a sustainable professional practice.

Registration is now closed. Please contact the APLD office with any questions. All registrants will receive the recording no later than 10 business days after the live webinar is held.
