OREGON MEMBERS HOLD WORKSHOP

On Friday, May 31st & Saturday, June 1, 2002, Robin Templar Williams, MSGD, APLD, presented a workshop entitled "GRAPHICS and PLAN PRESENTATION" for practicing Landscape Designers at the Rock Creek Campus of Portland Community College, Portland, Oregon. This two-day workshop touched upon developing 3 dimensional techniques, penmanship, line hierarchy, and color as ways of enhancing your planting plans. On the second day, presentation skills, assembling and putting together a portfolio, and communicating with the client was included in the topics covered.

Robin Templar Williams works in partnership with his father, Robin Williams, in Berkshire , U.K. He lectures for the Royal Horticultural Society at Wisley, and has also lectured at the College of Garden Design, and at the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden. He has been the recipient of numerous show awards in the U.K., and has undertaken design commissions throughout Europe, USA, Asia and Japan. He is a certified APLD member, and a Full member of the Society of Garden Designers.
